With SBL sending our first ever Women's team to compete in She-Box, Prague, and the announcement of the inaugural Women’s Box Lacrosse World Championships in September 2024, Women’s box lacrosse is on the rise so the time to get involved in this epic new sport is now!
Host a SBL Roadshow at your club, college or school.
At Southern Box Lacrosse, we are working to create opportunities for women to get into Box across the South of England.
Whether you are a newish player to lacrosse or a seasoned vet, we’d love to get a box stick in your hand sometime soon.
What is a SBL Roadshow?
Instead of you coming to us, we come to you. We bring the equipment needed to run a taster session to one of your regular training evenings.
We help yo to get kitted up, and then run a clinic on your home turf.
If I start playing Box, will it affect my field game?
Most definitely. Faster decision making, ability to handle the ball under pressure, shot accuracy and athleticism will all improve. And because lots of the magic in box happens off-ball, your lax IQ will skyrocket.

Cost - minimum £50 contribution.
We’d love to run sessions for free, our coaches and helpers are volunteers. but we must cover the cost of fuel for getting the equipment to you, any surplus is invested into the programme.
